Trial setup limitations
- close App does not restart after reboot or power outage.
- close Device is not locked to MasterLapse.
- close Updates require manual installation.
- close Permissions may be auto-revoked by Android if unused.
- close Other apps may interfere with DSLR USB connection.
warning Not ideal for long-term timelapse and unattended locations.
To avoid these limitations, use Enterprise Installation instead.

Open the downloaded file and confirm the security permissions when prompted.
Open the app and enter the 6-digit pairing code from your dashboard.

Factory reset: Settings → System → Reset → Factory data reset.
Enable enterprise provisioning: On the welcome screen, tap 6 times on an empty area — a QR scanner will open. On some devices the scanner opens later, after choosing the language.

Start the installation: Scan the code below.
- Do not sign in to Google
- Accept Google services (location, etc.)
- Ignore provisioning warnings like "admin can access your microphone, passwords etc." — MasterLapse only accesses the camera
- Skip everything not related to MasterLapse (e.g. parental control)
Wait for the setup to complete: The app will launch automatically. Enter the 6-digit pairing code from your dashboard.
